Liz and Joe

Untitled photo

Bartley Ranch was the place Liz and Joe had chosen for their engagement session. It’s one of Reno’s parks, but this one was, I suppose at one time, a working ranch. They have very old wooden ranch buildings there and old tractors too. They make for nice western style photos.

And Liz and Joe are a western style couple. At least they were on this snowy day. And speaking of snow, it can make those western style photos really come to life.

However unfortunately, snow usually means cold. Liz and Joe had these really warm looking matching jackets. Their photographers, us, did not. Not only were our jackets not matching. They were at home, because we left our warm house, to our warm garage, where we got into our warm car.

And we didn’t know how much we goofed up, till it started snowing, just before we entered the park. But we soldered on and made the photos.

And on the way home, we vowed to go outside and see what the weather’s like, before we ever go to an outdoor photoshoot again.

Brrr, I’m started to shiver, just thinking about being out in the snow, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, with no jacket.
